Legendary jazz pianist Dick Morgan left us all with one last gift before he passed away in 2013 – Blues à la Basie – one of the best CDs he ever recorded. This concert and CD release party honoring Dick will feature renowned New York-based pianist Tadataka Unno. Tadataka grew up in Tokyo idolizing Dick and absorbed his unforgettable style like no one else. Now a rising star himself, Tadataka tours with such jazz greats as Jimmy Cobb. But he is taking this time to honor his idol with the support of Dick’s longtime bandmates. $25 cover charge for this very special event.
